As long as users conform to the Terms of Use, they can post as many ads as they desire about anything! There is never a charge. Registered users can also view all email addresses, not visible to unregistered users of iLandhop.
(ii) FREE TO UPLOAD IMAGES: Although we are a free advertisement site, we care about the quality of your advertisement. Users can upload, FREE of charge, as many as 4 images per post/classified. This of course enhances the quality and aesthetic value of classifieds and ultimately contributes to a classified's probability of receiving more hits.
(iii) AD IS POSTED IMMEDIATELY: Unlike classifieds in newspapers that put your ad through a vetting process, with iLandhop your classified ad is posted on our site as soon as you hit the "Submit" button. There are no hassles. No waits. No lag time. Your ad once submitted is visible on our site for all to see.
(iv) AD DURATION: While newspaper classiifeds have a dimunitivel set duration for the life of your paid advertisement, the life of your free classified ad iLandhop is much longer. Most ads have a 60 day life-span on iLandhop. Vacation Station ads have a 90-day lifespan. Event ads expire on the day of the event.
(v) CONTROL OF ADS: All users with iLandhop get a free iLandhop account upon registration. You only ever need to register ONCE! (Of course, registration is also free and is a 30 second process). Once you register, keep your iLandhop account information handy and in a safe place. You will need it to log in. iLandhop gives you absolute and total control over your iLandhop account. You can edit ads posted as many times as you'd like. You can change your login/password. You can delete ads. Of course, you can also add more ads, yes, absolutely FREE of charge!
(vi) CARIBBEAN WEBSITE: As a Caribbean owned and operated website, our hope is that we market the Caribbean across the Diaspora as well as the world. So, our reach is not just local and regional. It is global. All ads posted/published are visible to anyone with a computer and internet access anywhere in the world. Your ad may be FREE, but it is nonetheless far-reaching.
USERS
Who can use iLandhop.com?
iLandhop.com welcomes all users who agree to conform to the provisions of iLandhop’s Terms of Use. There will usually be two (2) types of iLandhop users:
(i) unregistered users; and
(ii) members.
Unregistered users are users who are able to negotiate the non-restricted areas of iLandhop.com.
Members are registered users. Members have signed up for and have an active account with iLandhop.com that grants them privileges in navigating the website.

Who are USERS?
Free members or users have an active free account with iLandhop.com which they are responsible to manage. Free members enjoy the privileges of submitting and responding to posts, using the ILandhop forum and subscribing to receive the ILandhop’s newsletter or specific postings on the ILandhop website, all free of charge.
What is account activation?
Before a registered user can log in to iLandhop, user must first check the email account with which he registered on the site. This email account will contain an email from iLandhop with a hyperlink leading back to the site. To have an active account with iLandhop, all registered members must click on this hyperlink which will redirect them to www.ilandhop.com. Once redirected, users can then log in to the sute. This is called account activation.
PREMIUM ADVERTISERS
Who are premium advertisers?
Premium advertisers are companies, organizations and individuals interested in placing graphical advertising banners on the iLandhop.com website in order to promote their company and/or product(s).
How much does premium advertisement cost?
Currently premium advertisement on iLandhop.com is FREE. Our premium advertisement offer will run until December 31, 2006. Please complete and sumbit the advertiser registration form to begin the process of advertising on our site.
During our free trial period, premium advertisers will not be asked for credit card information nor will they be charged in any way. The service during this period is entirely free.
On January 1, 2007, iLandhop.com will launch its advertising initiative. Beginning on that date and thereafter, we will inform and offer our premium advertisers iLandhop's new advertising packages and rates. ILandhop premium advertisers will then have the option of either participating in or opting out of this offer.
How does a premium advertiser upload his/her banner?
Follow the simple steps below:
(i)Once you register as a premium advertiser log in as an advertiser. The lower set of login/password fields
in the login page are applicable.
(ii)In your advertiser account click on "Add Banner"
(iii) On Add Banner page, enter your details in the fields. Enter "Banner Title".
(iv) Payment Mode select "cheque".
(v) Banner page select "intermediary page" or "posting page" depending on the size of banner and where you wish for it to be located on the site. Banner specifications are noted on "About Premium Advertisement" page.
(vi) Location select the countries you wish to have banner displayed.
(vii) Pay for banner per impression. This is the lower choice. Total count should remain 0 per impression. The total count field should be greyed out if you have selected the correct button. As you know, you will not be charged for displaying your banner.
(viii) Subscription type is 100 days. Upload your banner.
(ix) Add your URL for the banner
(x) Total cost should remain $0.00
(xi) Click on "sumbit"
POSTING
Who can submit/reply to a post?
Only members of ILandhop can submit or reply to a post. It takes less than 30 seconds to become a member and it is entirely FREE.
How much does it cost to submit/reply to a post?
It is entirely FREE for members of ILandhop to submit/reply to posts.
How do I submit a post?
You must first log in to your ILandhop account. Click on post an ad, complete the details of your ad in the dialog box and submit it.
How do I reply to a post?
You must first log in to your ILandhop account. In the top of the body of the post you wish to reply to is a visible email address. You can copy and paste or type this email address into your email account.
What is the lifespan of a post?
A post expires on ILandhop.com 60 days after the initial date of submission, except in the following circumstances:

How do I include a pic in my post? In some categories, you will be offered the option to Add Images to your posting during the posting process. Additionally, you can do that using the HTML <img> tag, but the picture must already be on a site someplace. There are many free web hosting sites on the internet where you can upload your picture, just type in "free web hosting" into your search engine. Make sure that the site allows you to link to their site from another.
Can I post anonymously and still receive messages?
Yes you can!!! As part and parcel of the process of posting, ILandhop requires your email address. However we have provided 3 options for you:
(i) Your email address appears in your posting just as you have typed it.
(ii) We anonymize your email address. Responses will be directed to the email which you have registered with.
(iii) No email address is shown at all - you'll need to provide contact info in the "Other ways people should contact you" box.
Can I post the same ad in more than one location/island?
This is not allowed. Posting your ad in more than one location is considered spamming. Please refer to the Terms of Use if you are not sure if your activity is a breach of that agreement. We encourage our members to flag such postings. Please post your ad in the location that is most relevant to you. We suggest you post on the "ALL ILANDS" page if you wish to reach a broader cross-section of users.
What is "flagging" a post?
Flagging occurs when a member marks a post for review by ILandhop based on the user's honest belief that the post fulfils at least one of the following criteria:
(i) obscene: the title and/or content and/or spirit of the post is inappropriate, discriminatory or
otherwise contravenes ILandhop's Terms of Use
(ii) miscategorized: the post has been submitted to the incorrect category or subcategory
(iii) spam: the post is one in a family of unsolicited, irrelevant or inappropriate posts, especially
commerial advertsing in mass quantities.
Flagged posts are removed if ILandhop deems them contrary to its Terms of Use. The user will thereafter be banned from the ILandhop website.
